Robert Trent Jones Junior is the son of the legendary Robert Trent Jones Sr, a true pioneer in golf course architecture. His name belongs to the elite World Golf Hall of Fame Trent Jones Senior was, among hundreds of projects, the architect of Quinta da Marinha golf course which also belongs to Onyria Golf Resorts.

The American golf course designer has designed over 270 golf courses in six continents, including remodelling Celtic Manor for the 2010 Ryder Cup.
One of his beliefs is that Mother Nature is the best architect: “Never fight with Mother Nature”, he says.
